One country that really fascinates me is Dubai. I've never had the pleasure to visit there but I have seen a lot of television shows featuring the place, seen photos and articles in magazines and, to top it all, I've seen photos of my friends who have been there for a vacation getaway. Their photos taken with a desert background were breathtaking. And those camels! I've never seen a real one and that would be an additional must-see on my list. Then there's the luxury hotel, Burj Al Arab, the fourth tallest hotel in the world. I know staying in that hotel will remain a dream for me because I couldn’t afford it but just seeing it, even if from afar, would be enough for me. But of course, not to forget, one of the most photographed and amazing sights in the world is the Burj Khalifa, the Khalifa Tower, the tallest man-made structure ever constructed.
I saw Dubai featured on one television show and it showed how Dubai once was, as opposed to now, and the transformation of the country is an amazing story. Reading its history is something I find interesting, too, and the internet is full of resources to learn more. But before reading further on that, I will get more info about Dubai holidays first and see what I can do about this dream of mine of visiting Dubai. Are my chances of seeing it up close and personal a future possibility? That totally depends on my budget, but nothing is impossible. As they say, keep on dreaming big because dreams do come true. Wow, Dubai is very far away from where I live, but I'd love to go there one day. It seems to be a great place for a holiday if you have a lot of money. ;-)
Take care!
