Nostalgia #62: Biltmore House

Thursday, November 17, 2011

Photobucket

I always watch the local news in the late afternoon as much as I can because I want to be updated on the latest happenings in the city. Last week, they featured about 'Christmas in Biltmore'. It is the time wherein the city's famous landmark starts decorating for Christmas. They put up a huge Christmas Tree with the help of the team consists of I guess a hundred people at that. The place is huge and they decorate not just the inside of the house, but the outside as well. So, just imagine the huge job that needs to be done.

Seeing that clip reminded me of the time we visited the house in February. It was still winter so it was really cold. Brrr! I've talked about this before here, but I got nostalgic so here it is once again.

Outside the house with Yogi.

My two boys. (",)

The river that runs inside the estate. This was on our way out from visiting the house.

Inside the shuttle bus. The visitors ride in the bus from the car park to the house and vice versa.
