Atlanta Vacay Part 8: A Happy Ending, But Time to Go Home

I've finally reached the ending of our Atlanta vacay which we had in the summer of 2012. July to be exact. It was definitely our most enjoyable and awesome vacation by far. I do wonder when and where our next destination will be. There's no plans as of yet by the husband. So, let us just wait and see.

This was on the early evening of Sunday which was our last day in Atlanta. We had such a long day that day so after seeing what we wanted to see, we decided to just relax at the hotel's patio.

There's my boys goofing around while I was trying to take a decent photo of them.

And our last breakfast on Monday morning. Although I missed home, I was also a little bit sad that our vacation was over and we were going to leave Atlanta which I had grown to love in that short time that we were there.

But as the husband said, it won't be the last that we are going to see the city. Besides, it is only a three-hour drive from our city.

So for now...until then, Atlanta. I surely can't wait to see you again! (",)

This Gave Me a Leg Up on Leggings

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of No nonsense. All opinions are 100% mine.

When it comes to fashion, I am always on the look out for what’s new and what’s in. But it doesn’t mean that I always go for the trend. I have to like it before I get it. Not to mention, I also make sure it will look good on me. Being petite and slim, there are things that I should consider before deciding on what to wear. Also, the season has a lot to do with it.

In the winter season, a pair of tights or leggings never fail to grace my outfit. And I always go for the black ones. I haven’t tried going bold with those bright and colorful No nonsense tights and leggings, but I am not closing my door. With what I’ve seen, I certainly am open to anything, but I am just not yet ready to be so bold.

Look at the collage that I’ve made. That is the kind of outfit that you would see me wearing on a special yet casual occasion. And looking at it, with that white sweater dress, I could incorporate it with color tights or leggings from No nonsense, huh? Red perhaps? How about brown or yellow? I am picturing it out and it looks good to me. What do you think?

I liked No nonsense on Facebook and followed @benononsense on Twitter so I will get updates on what’s hot because, without a doubt, their tights and leggings are so striking and affordable that even Jill Martin partnered with them. She is a fashion expert and an Emmy Award-winning TV personality. She is also the co-author of the New York Times bestselling style guide "I Have Nothing to Wear!" and the New York Correspondent for Access Hollywood. With her being the Brand Ambassador, the No nonsense tights and leggings are without a doubt, must haves. In addition, they are sold at food and drug stores and mass retails stores.

Like and follow them too if you wish and be updated. For a start, please do watch the video below and see how lovely those tights and leggings are.

Atlanta Vacay Part 7b: Underground Atlanta Part 2

As promised, here's the continuation of what seems like a never-ending story of our Summer Vacay to Atlanta last year. My apologies. There were just a lot to share about that great vacation of ours. Don't worry, the tale is almost over so you can breathe a sigh of relief now. (",)

The photos on my post previously about Underground Atlanta was taken outside. The cars below can be found at the underground, thus, the name. It looked like a tunnel or I think it is actually a tunnel that was built in the early 1800's or 1900's. Now, it is considered as one of the city's attractions with these cars as display and several stores for shopping. There were also restaurants and bars.

A truck?

A police car?

A luxury car?

A carriage?

An old gas lamp from the streets of Atlanta, circa 1830's.

You Must Work to Make Work a Peaceful Place

“Maintain a good atmosphere in your work place.” I do remember reading that somewhere and I also remember hearing that from someone. I just can’t remember the details of these two events.

Anyhow, I do believe in that phrase. Nothing is more unhealthy than not having a good relationship with our colleagues. I’ve been there and done that, so to speak. But as we know, things do happen. As much as we wanted to have a peaceful environment with our co-workers, we all don’t think the same way. Some are considerate, some are not. Some are respectful, some are not. And the list goes on. And I don’t think there will ever be a peaceful work place not unless you will be around people whose goal is the same as yours.

There will always be those with annoying habits. The info graphic is showing you the different kinds. To tell you, I believe in the “golden rule’” and for certain, I don’t possess any of those habits and how I wish all people would have the same thinking as me, but unfortunately, that is not the case. So I think all I can do is deal with it. Do I have any other option? What do you think?

Anyone who works in a traditional workspace knows that co-workers can easily get on your nerves. When you’re forced to spend 8+ hours a day with a group of people you don’t necessarily like, it’s likely to become annoyed at some point. But what are the most annoying habits of co-workers? This infographic lists the top 10.

Atlanta Vacay Part 7: Underground Atlanta

Wouldn't you know it? It took me a year to continue my story about our Summer Vacay to Atlanta, Georgia. Well, I started talking about our vacation in 2012, and now it's already 2013, and I am not done yet. Kidding! I was just being cute.

Anyway, my apologies, folks. The Holidays certainly kept me so busy. I bet yours was as busy as mine. But it's not yet too late to continue my story, is it? If it is, then you can just stop reading here. If not, then, read on. (",)

After the zoo, we headed to Underground Atlanta which is located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. The attraction was famous because of the 18th and 19th century automobiles that they display.

A Divco - Detroit Industrial Vehicle Co. - 1947 van, one of only 600 made.

This was only one among the automobiles that we saw. There's my husband and my son scrutinizing the magnificent vehicle. More stories about Underground Atlanta continues the next time we travel on my travel capsule. (",)

Happy New Year!!!

We finally said goodbye to 2012 last night. Today is the start of a brand-new year.

Our 2012 has been such a great year. We've seen places and experienced a lot of things. I wonder what this year has in store for us. I hope it will be as great as the previous year, if not, much greater. (",)

As per the Chinese calendar, 2013 is the year of the snake. And guess what? It is my husband's year. Last year was a great year for him. I am hoping this year would be as great as well. I am hoping and praying.

Happy 2013 everyone! Here's wishing you all a prosperous new year. Cheers!!!
